About Hall & Hill Construction
Built in Idaho
Hall & Hill Construction was founded by two longtime Idaho builders with a shared belief that the best work comes from putting people, family, and community at the center.
Built on a handshake, our commitment is simple: build with honesty, lead with intention, and deliver craftsmanship that stands the test of time. As a relationship-based company, our entire team is driven by the understanding that strong partnerships create stronger projects.
We lead with integrity, disciplined execution, and an enduring commitment to excellence - principles that have shaped each of our careers.
Chairman & Owner
Steve Hill
Steve Hill has more than 50 years of experience in commercial construction. Before founding Hill Construction in 2004, he spent 15 years as the original founder of ESI Construction, one of the nation’s top contractors.
His background gives him a rare perspective. He’s been both the builder and the client. That insight helps guide projects toward practical, cost-effective results without cutting corners.
Steve and his wife, Betty, received the 2021 Eugene Emerson Award for their longtime partnership with Northwest Nazarene University, where they’ve completed over 25 campus projects. Steve has also served on the NNU Foundation Board for more than 20 years and now holds the title of Director Emeritus.
President & Owner
Korey Hall
Korey leads with the same principles he builds with: vision, purpose, and accountability. A graduate of Boise State University’s Construction Management program, he has overseen major projects across the Treasure Valley, including Boise State University, Power Engineers, and D&B Supply.
Before forming Hall & Hill, Korey spent more than a decade with ESI and BVA/Ahlquist, earning a reputation for efficient, transparent, and safe job sites - all while maintaining steadfast relationships across the industry.
That starts with doing things the right way and treating clients, contractors, and peers with honesty and respect.

CONSTRUCTION LEADERSHIP
Hall and Hill core leadership is powered by a group of close friends who grew up on hard work, loyalty and blue-collar grit. Their beliefs in leadership are similar in doing things the right way, not cutting corners and not being afraid to challenge each other to be better.
Iron sharpens iron.
It’s how they lead, how they build, and how they show up each day: united, hardworking, and true to their word.
